With all the rain we had these past couple months, many roads were damaged and closed, including one near where I live. I thought this would be the perfect place for the Warner's family portrait session. Their two little girls love to run around and explore so I had a feeling they would love it. And what do you know, I was totally right! They had the best time playing on the fallen logs and in the water. Hattie found herself a walking stick that she carried everywhere. Cora found a dead fish and was VERY interested in it. We even saw an eagle and I was lucky enough to get a few pictures of it flying over the family's heads.
I've grown really pretty close to this family over the past five years, to the little girls especially. I may even be unconsciously training Cora (the older sister) to be an amazing model. When I arrived for the session she showed me her flowers that could be used for different poses. It was the cutest thing. And during the session she posed herself and even posed her family for some photos. I think she's going to take over my job.
We had such a blast during the session, I can't wait for our next one.
