Mirror Lake State Park | Baraboo, WI

September 23, 2018

Last week, after work, I hung out with a friend and went for a short hike at Mirror Lake State Park. (Not before we got Qdoba for dinner.) We went right at sunset. Yes I brought bug spray, and yes I still got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Luckily everyone knows that mosquitoes are a thing, otherwise anyone would have thought we were crazy with how much we were flailing around. We still had fun though. I found the cutest little pinecone on the ground and we named it Timmy. Yes we are the people who name intimate objects. I even brought it home and it's now sitting on my shelf. I did sneak a couple pictures of my friend and she took some of me, because we're photographers and we can't help it.

I had never been to Mirror Lake, so it was nice to see it and explore the area a little bit. I definitely spotted a few good places for portraits. ;)
